Robinson Training Services provide CPC periodic training. If you have a Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) licence, which is required if you drive a lorry, bus or coach for a living, then you will need to undertake 35 hours of periodic training every five years in order to keep your CPC license valid. At Robinson Training Services, we can provide the training to help you to keep your skills sharp and up to date.
The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence came into effect on the 10th September 2008 for PCV drivers and a year later for professional LGV drivers. This new certificate came as the result of a European Union directive in order to "maintain high driving standards and improve road safety."
All bus, coach and lorry drivers must now past the Driver CPC training if they wish to drive professionally. Drivers must also undergo an additional 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep their license valid.
