ADR Driver Training Courses South Stifford

Robinson Training Services offers ADR – Carriage of Dangerous Goods Training in South Stifford from our site in Purfleet.

If you plan to drive with dangerous cargo in either packages or tanks, or both, then you will need an ADR certificate in South Stifford. The ADR Certificate last for 5 years, this will need to be renewed/refreshed no later than 6 weeks before the expiry date or a full initial course will be required.

ADR is divided into:

• Class 1 Explosives (Not available at our centre)
• Class 2 Gases; compressed, liquefied, dissolved under pressure or refrigerated
• Class 3 Flammable liquids
• Class 4 Flammable solids, substances liable to spontaneous combustion
• Class 5 Oxidising substances and organic peroxides
• Class 6 Toxic, harmful and infectious substances
• Class 7 Radioactive (not available at our centre)
• Class 8 Corrosives – Acids and Alkalis
• Class 9 Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles, e.g. asbestos, PCBs and any substance or article not covered by the other classes

The initial course- Core, Packages, 7 UN Classes & Tanks (excluding Explosives & Radioactive), it is a 5-day course with multiple choice exams. There are also 21 hours of drivers CPC available over the first 3 days of the initial course.

We can also do Varied Courses should you only need for example – Class 3 flammable liquid for Tanks or Class 2 gasses for Packages, we can tailor a course to suit your needs.
