Driver CPC Periodic Training
Robinson Training Services provide Driver CPC for both New Drivers with the Module 2 Case study & Module 4 Training with Test – As-well as the Driver CPC Periodic Training for drivers needing renewals for their Certificates of professional Competence & for new drivers that have acquired rights on their licence. Please see below details with regards to both forms of Driver CPC.
Who is Driver CPC for
All bus, coach and lorry drivers must complete 35 hours ( 5 days) of periodical Training. At Robinson Training services we do what is called a Dual Purpose course, this means when you sit a 7-hour day session with us & it will be valid for all licence types that you hold, if you are renewing or if you hold acquired rights on your licence. Acquired rights are also known as (grandfather rights) means that if you passed your car licence before 1997 you will also hold a 7.5tonne licence allowing you to do the 35 hours Period training – as-well as if you gained your HGV Licence before 2008 you will be entitled to do the periodic training, even if you have never held a CPC card before.
If you are still unsure which CPC you need or would like any information please either call us on 01708868038 or fill out our Contact Form.

Initial LGV CPC for New Driver – Module 2 Case Study & Module 4 Training with Test
Module 2 Case Study
This will be taken at your local Pearson Theory Test Center, The test is made up of 7 case studies you work through on a computer. The case studies are short stories based on situations that you’re likely to come across in your working life. You’ll be asked between 6 and 8 multiple-choice questions on each case study. The test lasts for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the pass mark is 40 out of 50. You need to complete Module 2 before you can book in for your Module 4, as we will need your pass number.
We can organise online revision material for you, using our trusted online site that gives you all the revision information along with Mock test, set with the layout you will see at the test site.
We can also book the Theory test for you when you are ready at a time and place to suit you.
