Who is Driver CPC in Seven Sisters for

Driver CPC in Seven Sisters is for LGV & PCV drivers who drive professionally, commercially for reward & gain throughout the UK & is part of the EU Directive 2003/59. The courses are updated regularly inline with new legislation & guidance, to improve Drivers knowledge & skills throughout their working life. The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence was introduced for LGV drivers from September 2008 and for PCV drivers since September 2009. All Lorry, Bus & Coach drivers must undergo 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep their licence valid.

All bus, coach, and lorry drivers are required to complete 35 hours (5 days) of periodic training. We offer a Dual Purpose Course at Robinson Training Services. This means that a 7-hour session is valid for all types of licenses, whether you are renewing your license or have acquired rights. Acquired rights are also known as (grandfather rights) which means that if you passed your car license before 1997 you will also hold a 7.5tonne license allowing you to do the 35 hours Period training – as-well as if you gained your HGV Licence before 2008 you will be entitled to do the periodic training, even if you have never held a CPC card before.If you still need help or have any questions, please call us at 01708868038. Initial LGV CPC in Seven Sisters for New Driver – Module 2 Case Study & Module 4 Training with Test

Module 2 & Module 4 LGV CPC for new Drivers in Seven Sisters is for candidates that have past their practical test after 2009 & have never held a CPC (also known as DQC Card) before. This CPC comes in two stages Module 2 is a multiple-choice theory test & Module 4 is a practical demonstration test. After completing the two parts, you will receive your first CPC card in Seven Sisters that is valid for 5 years. Within this 5 year period, you must complete 35 hours of periodic training to renew your card.

Module 2 Case Study

This will be taken at your local Pearson Theory Test Center near Seven Sisters, The test is made up of 7 case studies you work through on a computer. The case studies are short stories that are based on situations you may encounter in your professional life. Each case study will have between 6 and eight multiple-choice question. The test will last 1 hour and 15 minutes and the pass score is 40 out 50. You need to complete Module 2 before you can book your Module 4, as we will need your pass number.

Module 4 Training & Test

This part is a practical demonstration around the vehicle, showing knowledge of daily vehicle checks & safe loading. This course includes a full training and test that is conducted at our site in Purfleet, Essex.
